Is this therapy? +
No. Coaching is forward-focused and action-oriented. We work on where you're headed, not on diagnosing or treating mental health conditions. If at any point it seems like therapy would serve you better, I'll always be honest about that and can help you think through next steps.
How is this different from working with a financial advisor, career coach, or life coach separately? +
Most specialists focus on one area of your life. I look at the whole picture, because your spending habits, career choices, relationships, routines, and day-to-day life are rarely separate issues. One coaching relationship can account for those connections rather than treating each area as its own problem.
Does HIPAA apply to our coaching sessions? +
No. Coaching is a non-clinical service and does not establish a healthcare relationship. Coaching notes are for internal use only and are not medical records. I still take your privacy seriously. See the confidentiality question below.
Do you diagnose ADHD, anxiety, or other conditions? +
No. I do not diagnose or treat ADHD, anxiety, or any other condition in my coaching practice. The focus of coaching is on recognizing patterns, understanding what's getting in your way, and identifying practical strategies that support your goals. My clinical background informs how I listen and ask questions, but coaching is not a substitute for a medical or mental health evaluation.
Where should I start: a Free Consult Call, a Discovery Session, or an individual session? +
There isn't one right way to begin. A Free Consult Call is a brief, free conversation to ask questions and see if we're a good fit. A Discovery Session is a 90-minute coaching session that gives you dedicated time to pause and identify practical next steps. It's a standalone experience and doesn't require a commitment to ongoing coaching. If you already know you want coaching, you can book an individual session and we'll build from there together.
How many sessions will I need? +
It depends on what you're working through. Some people get real clarity from a single Discovery Session. Others want ongoing support over a period of time to build momentum, work toward meaningful goals, and create lasting change. We'll talk about what makes sense for you before you commit to anything.
What happens in a Discovery Session? +
It's a real conversation, not a form. We'll talk through the different areas of your life: work, money, relationships, daily patterns, and how you think, focus, organize, and move through your day. We'll start mapping out how they connect and where the biggest opportunities for change may be.
Can coaching be customized to my schedule or needs? +
Yes. Not every client needs the same schedule or level of support. A custom coaching plan can be created when you need something different from the standard options, based on your goals, preferred frequency, timeline, or the type of support you're looking for.
Is Body Doubling the same as coaching? +
No. Body Doubling is different from coaching. Rather than working through an issue or developing a plan, the focus is on creating the structure and presence that helps you follow through. You bring a task you've been putting off, and the session gives you the structure to start, stay with it, and make progress.

Sessions are available by phone or video and can be booked on their own or added to an ongoing coaching plan. Body Doubling sessions follow the same cancellation and rescheduling policy as coaching sessions.
Is anything we talk about confidential? +
Yes. What you share stays between us, with the standard exception of any immediate safety concern.
Do you accept insurance? +
No, coaching isn't a medical service, so it isn't billed through insurance. I accept card payments, with flexible payment options available if needed for multi-session packages.
How do our sessions take place? +
Sessions are held over video calls, with phone available as a backup option when needed.
What's your cancellation policy? +
Appointments are scheduled, rescheduled, and canceled through the Healthie client portal, which is used for all coaching communications. I ask for at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or no-shows, may result in a forfeited session, a fee, or the session being counted as used if you're on a package.

The complete Cancellation & No-Show Policy is reviewed and signed as part of client intake and applies to coaching and Body Doubling sessions.
